Love for the earth and its products
The Cottage is also part of the Agritourism Le Silve project. The sylvan-pastoral context within which it is developed provides ample space for the cultivation of wheat, barley, and cereals - from which artisanal bread and hand-rolled pasta are made - and for the rearing of pigs and game for food. In the wild you will instead find horses and donkeys, which live within the estate and prove docile and tame when they encounter humans. However, we advise caution when interacting with them.
Great attention is also given to the products of the earth, which are harvested and processed according to the seasonality of each one: mushrooms in spring and autumn, truffles in autumn and winter, fruits for jams and compotes, and olives from which a memorable oil is handmade.
You can savour these products of the earth at Light lunches at the "Fossa del Lupo", an open-air tasting between the hall and the garden, admiring the incredible landscape offered by the natural panoramic terrace.
